iPad Feedback

One challenge about reading on iPads is annotating. After a while, you get a little bit faster at highlighting, but it is still not as fast as underlining in a book. Also, writing side notes is not as fast because I first must highlight something, then click on the note button, then tap the note to open the keyboard, then type my message, and lastly, tap outside of the note to go back to reading. Writing in the margins is much easier.

Another problem is looking up words. In kno, you must hold your finger on the word and then click the define button; however, if you want to look up a word that is already in a highlighted section, it is nearly impossible. First you have to unhighlight the section with the word, highlight the word, look up the word, an then rehighlight a section.

One benefit of using iPads is the weight and space it takes up. Because an iPad can store many ebooks, including textbooks, it frees up weight and space in your backpack.
