Dysfunctional Family

I wouldn't consider the Bennett's family to be dysfunctional. They lived in an era when women didn't have much of a say towards any subject whatsoever. Therefore, it seemed the norm to deprive Elizabeth Bennett from an opportunity to decide whom she wanted to marry, until she took a stand for her own rights. Also although Mr. Bennett did not love Mrs. Bennett when he married her that also doesn't mean anything. Every family has there own faults. There are sometimes unfortunate cases where a couple marries without even truly loving each other. Also, because it may seem as though Mr.Bennett recieve his amusement from making fun of his wife perhaps he isnt doing it in order to harass her but listen up everyone's mood instead. Hamlet on the other hand, his uncle killed his brother, and married his wife. Usually when a brother is willing to go to the extent of killing his sibling and marrying his partner, jealousy may be involved which can lead to dysfunctnality. Claudius need to be on top, may be an indicator that he had a rough childhood with his brother being the best at everything. This can can note with dysfunctionality as well.
